14 Jan Tribeca Care Newsletter – December 2022
As we approach the end of 2022, we wanted to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude for your trust in our elder care services. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to care for your loved ones and to have formed meaningful connections with them.
Despite the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, in the last 3 years our team of dedicated caregivers, care managers and our centralized care support team has worked tirelessly to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of your loved ones. We are proud of the way we have adapted to the ‘new normal’ – from evolving protocols and procedures to continue providing the highest quality care while working within the restrictions.
Yes – TriBeCa Care is 10 years old!
As we look ahead to the new year, we are excited to announce that our Tribeca journey started a decade back, and we have been caring for the elderly since 2013.
10 years is a long time. We have worked hard to create services and products that matter. But more importantly, we have developed wonderful caregivers who have managed over thirty thousand senior members. Attaining a 4.8/5.0 review on Google (in a service business that is notoriously difficult to excel in) is rewarding. But what makes our management team – battle hardened with over 200 years of experience in just Elder Care – misty eyed are the hundreds of emails of appreciation from you and your loved ones who we have been honored to serve. We realize then that in our small way we make a real difference in the lives of families.
Our work is about serving.
The last thing we would ever want is to rest on our laurels and get complacent. We intend to keep driving towards a higher level of service, care, and professionalism consistently. We look to strengthen basic elder care services such as emergency response, assistance with medical monitoring, mobility, and much more through technology, protocols and most importantly, our people.
At the same time we want to vastly focus our efforts on the fun part of aging – trips, travel, get together and celebrations. We call this Club TriBeCa.
December highlights and upcoming activities
- As part of our Club TriBeCa plans, we had organized a picnic for our members in Dec 2022. It was a success, and many members were asking about the next outing. Our next trip is scheduled to Taki in Jan 2023. We have fewer seats on this trip, so please get in touch, as soon as possible, with your care manager or care coordinator to register yourself or to get further details on this.
- We have, over the last many months, seen a surge of interest towards our full-time attendant services, and have decided to strengthen our services to meet with the current demands of our customers. We have a team undertaking the resourcing and training of the attendants, some of which is in partnership with organizations such as La Mariniere SEOMP. If you, or someone you know need full time help at a senior’s home, please contact us. Our full-time attendant services are available for both our current members and for those that are new to Tribeca services.
To reiterate, we are excited to celebrate all that we have achieved together. We are also committed to continuing to innovate and improve our services to serve you and your loved ones better.
Before I end this blog, I regrettably wanted to inform you of the demise of one of our own. Rinku Bej, who was with us for many years, diligently worked in our back office to make sure that our processes never faltered. She delivered a healthy baby last month, but she herself succumbed to post delivery complications on 30th December. She was only 33 years old. We deeply regret the sad, unfortunate, and untimely passing of a wonderful person and would want to take a moment to pay her a tribute.
We wish you and your family a festive holiday season and a celebration-filled new year.
