Travelling gives us joy and refreshment. When we travel, it helps us relieve stress, bring excitement, and feel better over time. Our elder ones, living a retired life, do not get time to meet and greet often. Staying at home all day, doing the daily work makes them feel bored. They need to go out, meet like-minded people, and build a connection by themselves to become more confident and independent.
Studies say that older people like to travel in groups more than only by themselves and 80% of people fall lesser sick of travel. Senior group traveling also benefits in improving cognitive health.
At Tribeca, we try to keep our elder people always free from boredom and stress by keeping them happy. Every year, we plan group traveling, picnics, and get together for our loved elder ones. This year, too, we have plans for some senior group traveling. Here are the following up comings.
Upcoming Tours
Taki Tour: 24th January 2023
We are the perfect Santa for our senior members and Santa can not disappoint without New Years” presents, right? Hence, we have planned a trip in the very first month of 2023. On 24th January, in Taki, at Hotel Sonar Bangla, we are having a group picnic cum stay for 1 night, 2 days. We have chosen Taki as this place is famous for its historical heritage, the local sight was seen, and the foods. This place is also not very far from our “City Of Joy.” In recent times, Taki has become a popular weekend gateway for people, besides the bank of Ichamati River. We hope to enjoy our upcoming trips with our elder ones.
Itachuna Rajbari: (To be announced)
One of our upcoming tours is to plan a picnic at the famous resort Itachuna Rajbari in Hoogly district. The place is an ancient heritage full Rajbari(palace), turned into a resort and a perfect tourist spot. One hour’s drive from Kolkata, this place is a hidden gem to visit in a group in recent times. The place offers a perfect blend of nature and modernity to unwind in a royal ambiance. The palace has its history resides and gives the feel of its princely presence. The backyard of the Rajbari has a lush green area, which now has been converted into an outdoor shooting area. Many movies have done shooting here. The food, accommodation, and vibe bring the perfect hotspot for get-togethers. It is a great place to enjoy quality time with great companions by creating memorable memories of a lifetime.
Mandarmani: (To be announced)
Mandarmani is a very common place for a local trip or a short getaway. Situated at the northern end of the Bay of Bengal, in the Midnapore district, this coastal beach is famous for being one of the largest seaside resorts of West Bengal, fast-developing. It is considered one of the longest beaches in India, known for its long sandy stretches and water sports activities. The place is fun for food, enjoyable beach view, long walks, and more. Group activities and traveling is the best combination to travel in Mandarmani with our seniors.

We have completed a few trips that have been planned before by team Tribeca for our senior members. Here is a little glimpse of the same.
Bawali Rajbari: 22th November – 24th November, 2022
Bawali Rajbari is a place that is located 300 km away from Kolkata, near Diamond Harbour, where the famous palace vibe and ancestral joy of great ambiance along with good food, local culture, and historical touch make it special. The trip was done from November 22 to 24th, 2022. We with our elder ones had a great time enjoying ourselves there at the get-together.
Puja Parikrama: 30th September – 02nd October, 2022
On the auspicious occasion of our old Bengali Durga Puja festival of 2022, we, team Tribeca, decided to take our elders on the trip of pandal hopping. We have covered Kolkata’s top-notch puja pandals like Hindustan Park, and Gariahat. We did possibly everything that youths usually experience during puja. The fun, food, and more. We also honored our seniors with little mementos from our end. The last puja was a memorable one with our loved elder ones.
