Tribeca Care’s unique Dialysis Assistance service makes it easier for families caring for their loved ones with kidney failure. Dialysis is often stressful to attend and emotionally draining to manage. Our Dialysis Assistance service is available not only for in-centre sessions but also for our new home-based dialysis treatment. Talk to a Tribeca Care Advisor and discuss how we can help you manage the care of a dialysis patient at home.
Tribeca Care has partnered with India’s largest dialysis network – Nephroplus – to provide home-based dialysis. Home dialysis is particularly beneficial for elderly and vulnerable patients who have mobility issues and prefer the convenience of dialysis in the comfort of home.
Tribeca Care Managers also support hundreds of dialysis at top hospitals, including helping patients attend their sessions, accompanying them during their treatment and arranging for medication or nursing care at home. Whatever your needs, we can customise our Dialysis Assistance services to take the stress out of dialysis.
Irrespective of where you choose to receive your treatment – at home or in-centre – Tribeca Care provides a range of services to make the process easier for families.
When our kidneys are not functioning well due to advanced chronic kidney disease (kidney failure) – they are not able to clean the blood properly. This leads to build-up of waste products in our body, which if left untreated, could eventually be fatal. Dialysis filters out these unwanted substances and fluids from the blood. There are 2 main types of dialysis – haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
Hemodialysis involves drawing the blood from a vein in the body and passing it through a ‘Dialyser’ which is an Artificial Kidney. The “Dialyser” cleans the blood and then sends t back to the body through the vein. Hemodialysis can be done at home, in hospitals or in clinics.
